Hello dollies…welcome to this month’s Where Bloggers Live 10.2020 where I’m talking about a ♪♫♩ ‘a few of my favorite things‘ ♪♫♩. Again this month the Where Bloggers Live post snuck up on me. They are always scheduled for the second Friday of each month. Our fearless leader Bettye always sends out lots of reminders. There’s no good excuse. But can I just say my tooth is infected and maybe the pain has gone to my brain.
WHERE BLOGGERS LIVE 10.2020
As you know by now, this fun series is kind of like HGTV’s “Celebrities at Home,” but…with bloggers! And who doesn’t like to peek behind the scenes and see inside people’s homes and lives? For last month’s post, we toured our closets. Since then, I have completed a small purge in mine and bought some skirt and pants hangers to organize those pieces a little better.
I have to say again, it really helps me to have my clothes arranged by article and then by color. Today for the Get Your Pretty On fall challenge, our outfit formula called for green pants. And because my pants are in color order, I went right to my olive pants and grabbed them. Love my velvet hangers.

Thinking of favorite things for me was like thinking of things for which I am grateful. Once I got started, it was hard to stop. They just kept coming!!

Glad you stopped by. Hope you will pop back by tomorrow for 10 on the 10th!! In the meantime, wishing you the very best weekend.
Hugs and kisses,
Joanne
I definitely hear Julie Andrews singing every time I think of my Favorite Things. The Sound of Music is one of my all time favorite movies. What a great list of favorites (though I have to admit snow would not make it onto my list).
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Isn’t The Sound of Music so good? I used to ‘play’ The Sound of Music when I was little. My friends and I would put on long skirts and run around singing and trying to escape the Nazis.
Kellyann Rohr
I can see why all of these things are your favorites! They’re all the things that enrich your life and feed your soul!
xo,

WOW, once you got started you just couldn’t stop. Great post, thanks for sharing.

Lovely, lovely, lovely list!
Your post makes me think I may revisit this topic in November!
I love all the photos you shared, and this is a really special way to take stock of what’s important during a time when you can’t enjoy so many of those things in person.
Your posts are always so uplifting, Leslie. I needed a little of that today, should have known right where I would find it! Your pictures are so full of joy, and it’s the one contagion I am truly grateful for…which makes your posts one of MY favorite things!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Oh, my darling friend. Thank you so much. I am so touched by this sweet message.

I went straight to Sound of Music, too, Leslie. Darn on your tooth. Your organizational skills are an inspiration. I will give my favourite things some thought. It is a matter of narrowing it down. Similar to many on your list. One for me “My favourite Bloggers” and you are one of them, Leslie.😊
Leslie Roberts Clingan
What a dear, sweet message. Thank you, my friend!!
jodie filogomo
You have a cross wall? OMG, so does my hubby. Well, it was a cross wall, and when we moved it’s now been changed to being incorporated among the many photos in our guest bedroom (which you will see in the future).
Loved reading this Leslie,
XOXO

Oh yes, the Sound of Music song is now stuck in my head! Haha! It was nice to learn more about you with this post and what your favorite things are!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Thank you. This favorite things post was a fun one to write.

I adore this series and know what you mean – once you get started on the things you adore, you just can’t stop!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Thank you!! So true.

Wow, that’s quite an extensive list of favorites! I will need to see a picture of “cross wall,” however.
Thank you very much 🙂

Oh, my cross wall. I created it years ago when I was first developing a relationship with God. It keeps growing with the beautiful crosses I find or am gifted. I have a cross that represents each person in my family and I touch their cross at times when I am praying for them. I think my strict Baptist mother-in-law doesn’t like the idea of a cross for mere mortals but it is just a way of remembering those I love in faith and prayer.

Hi Leslie – yes we have a LOT to be grateful for haven’t we? I think family is my most favourite thing – starting with my husband, my kids and my grandgirls. I always try to share a picture or two in my end of month round-up post because nothing beats a picture – and I loved all the ones you included in this post – it helps make us feel more connected doesn’t it?
Jill
This is so fun! I can see why these all are your favorite things! Love how you did these photos!

Thank you!! This was a fun post that wrote itself.

You have a wonderful extensive list of favorite things. You and I have a lot of the same favorite things, especially family, friends, and patchouli! 🙂
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Oh, yay!! I love knowing you wear patchouli, too. I could bathe in it. But I think it is an acquired taste.
