Sweet friends,
Welcome or welcome back. Today some of my friends at The Blended Blog and I are sharing our month-long “Sentence a Day” series. We wrote one sentence summary for each day during the month of June and below is the end result. To summarize my June in one word – roller coaster…oops, that’s two…rollercoaster. That’s better. Read below to find out why.
6/1/2016 So much to do, so little time and so anxious for summer.

6/2/2016 Answered prayers…baby Lucia’s torties (torticollis) is almost completely reversed.
6/3/2016 Glad to see a movie worth seeing, “You Before Me”, worth every tear and provided good discussion with my PC afterward.

6/4/2016 Spending time outside can be so refreshing and rejuvenating.
6/5/2016 Sometimes you just have to have pizza.
6/6/2016 Came home dawg tired, fixed lasagna, changed into work out clothes, did “21 Day Fix” full body cardio and now I feel amazing.
6/7/2016 Normally, an introverted home-body, I enjoyed dining out with my Prince and some of his colleagues from work at Cattleman’s Steak House, and the sunset vista on the way home was heavenly.
6/8/2016 Saying goodbye and closing the door to the Guerrero library felt like retiring all over again, only under happier circumstances.
6/9/2016 I think I am going to like this summer vacation business if today was any indication.
6/10/2016 Feeling so high on life today with all of our activities – gun range, batting cages, Souper Salad, bike ride, workout at the gym.
6/11/2016 Baseball and lunch then a quiet evening at home finishing the latest season of “House of Cards”; now what will we watch?
6/12/2016 “Jungle Book” movie and popcorn with jalapenos, steaks on the grill and “Game of Thrones” before bedtime.

6/13/2016 First real day of summer vacay…stayed home all day catching up on housework projects = lots of ironing.
6/14/2016 Love lazy mornings of devotional time, blogging and reading and busy afternoons getting things done.
6/15/2016 So proud of myself…bike riding, 30 minute “BeachBody” upper body workout, eating well, 30 minute jog on the treadmill and the first day of spring, summer cleaning.
6/16/2016 Grateful for good books and down time to read them.
6/17/2016 Organized everything from this past school year with boxes for bulletin board borders and fabric, storytelling dolls, samples from lessons taught, even the books I use for each lesson.
6/18/2016 A certain baby girl is coming to my house in eleven days so this morning I got her room ready.
6/19/2016 Watching the movie “The Man Who Knew Infinity” makes me realize how right-brained I am.

6/20/2016 Spring summer cleaning continues with the master bedroom closet, master bath cabinets, drawers, bedroom nightstands – which translates to one huge bag of expired meds, old makeup, partial bottles of dried up lotion, old perfume.
6/21/2016 Listening to James Taylor at the concert tonight took me back to younger days and simpler times.
6/22/2016 With all the increase in exercise I am doing and the better choices I am making in the food I am preparing and eating, I am not losing weight but have gained about a pound and a half…can we call it muscle?
6/23/2016 Lucia looks so big in pictures until I see her in person again and realize she is still little.
6/24/2016 Missing my PC tonight.
6/25/2016 So tired that I put 2012 instead of 2016.
6/26/2016 Chinese food can make everything better.
6/27/2016 One more day til Moving Day…praying it all goes well.
6/28/2016 Heat index of 105, humidity of at least that, common halls near the kids’ apartment being painted, movers wanting to leave two hours/60% into loading the U-Haul, and leaving three boxes on the elevator when they left to go to another job…but we did it, the truck is loaded, and we are on our way.
6/29/2016 Baby Lucia was a doll driving twelve hours from Houston to El Paso with the night spent in San Antonio to divide the trip and PC was a doll to drive the U-Haul the whole way.
6/30/2016 Lazy day in El Paso with time spent in the hot tub, dinner at the table followed by a walk around the park and a bath for Lucia’s very first visit to grandma’s house.
No wonder I am tired! This has been a very hectic month. One sentence and one day at a time.
How was YOUR June? Here it comes…question of the post. Question: What is something you did in June that was especially enjoyable or meaningful to you? Please share in a comment below.
Have a restful weekend, friends!
Hugs and kisses,

Love reading your days! I’m WILL remember to do it for July! I wrote about fun things I did in June in my Monday post! So many things!
Carrie @ Curly Crafty Mom
Yes! It must be muscle you gained! Lol! I gained 5.5 lbs on vacation… I seriously don’t know how that is possible?! I ran two 3 mile runs, too! Lol! So, I’m trying to make some healthier and smarter eating choices this week. I saw Me Before You and LOVED it. Also read the book (and the 2nd book)…

So you have read both Me Before You books? How in the world, in your crazy busy life, do find time to read? You must never sleep. I am feeling
especially chubby now that I am home from moving Lauren. It had been close to ten days since I exercised, although I did swim and go to the gym
once while I was gone. Back at it again today.
Sarah @ Foxy's Domestic Side
Definitely muscle weighs more than fat…:) Being healthy is the most important thing. Lots of movie watching this month, yay! I’m reading Me before You right now…just slow going. I need to make some time for it! Hope you have a great 4th of July!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
We had a quiet 4th but were so wiped out from our trip to move Lauren, it was a refreshing break. I can’t stick with a book that
I am not crazy about, thus the unfinished books on my Nook. I have started getting samples before committing to buy a book. I can usually fall in love
with a book in the first chapter…or not like it at all.
Anne G.
I’m sure you were tired after the month you’ve had! We were able to spend extra time with our granddaughters in June, so that was special to me. Lots going on in July, too!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Are you guys going anywhere on vacation, Anne? We are headed back out of town next week to see our parents. It will be my sixth trip in three months.
I never will get back in shape at this rate. Hey, wanna play dress up with me? Would love for you to do one of the pick, pair, share combos. Let me know!
Suzanne
Heavens! You are squeezing lots into your days. I feel positively lazy now.
With all the exercise you are getting in that has to be muscle. It has nothing to do with the pizza or Chinese food. No way.
After reading this post I can see that I seriously need to step up my exercise routine. Walking the pug daily isn’t going to cut it.
bisous

Got such a chuckle from you saying that walking the pug isn’t going to cut it in the exercise department. It seems
the older I get, the more I have to do to just stay even and the harder it is to find the energy to do it. Darn menopause!
Alison @ Puppies & Pretties
You did have a busy month! Major kudos to you and all your working out! You also made me think that I need to get on that whole spring (err summer) cleaning as well.
Leslie Roberts Clingan
I have always done my cleaning over one week’s time. That way it is all clean at once. This spring and now summer, I have been gone so much that I can’t get it all done! So by the time I finish, it will be time to start again!

I love reading your days. I am totally with 6/5 – sometimes you have to have pizza (which would be every night if it weren’t for my husband). I am always looking for new movies – so I am going to check out the Infinity movie.
