Joining Rebecca Jo at Knit by God’s Hand and Jennifer at All 4 Boys in sharing the hosting responsibilities for the Thankful Thursday series. Some weeks, you might discover posts from all 3 of us, other Thursdays, it might just be one of us hosting. Sometimes you might find a post from me on a Friday!! But whatever the case, YOU are always welcome to join us!!
THANKFUL THURSDAY 10.21.2021
Coming off a hectic week of appointments and commitments every day. And the coming week may wind up being just about as busy. But I don’t think I will be needed to go over the mountain to help with the girls next week. With gas at $3.49 a gallon, and payday still 9 days away, I am thankful for that.
What else am I thankful for this week? Let’s see.

Hugs and kisses,

You are an inspiration to me! I am grateful for many of the same things. I’ve been writing a gratitude article for my church’s monthly newsletter. This is a wonderful way to start my thinking.

What a very sweet thing to say!! My goodness. Can’t imagine that I am an inspiration. But sure appreciate those kind words. I am sure your article is a blessing to others.

Gratitude is so important and I love to see the things you are grateful for Leslie.
Naps are high on my list too except it hasn’t been happening much lately, LOL

Glad to know I am not the only one enjoying a good nap. I really feel so much better with even a 15 minute nap.

So many things to be grateful for, but this week I’m thankful for the time I’ve been able to spend with my Dad, and time with my horse friends.
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Those sound like real blessings. I am hoping to visit my 94 year old mom in a few weeks. Looking forward to that.
Deb
Would it make you feel better about the petrol price if I told you that it is almost double that price over here? Crazy isn’t it?
I love seeing how long your lists are on Thankful Thursdays! Long may that last.
I am thankful for ‘new’ things this week. New Home for our son and a new job for our daughter 🙂
Amy Johnson
I had so much zucchini this year (doesn’t everyone though) and made zucchini bread all summer. One recipe makes two loaves, so I’d freeze one and we’d eat the other. We will have plenty of bread this winter for sure!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
How does the bread freeze? Would love to try your recipe. I bought – should try to grow next year – 3 zucchinis on Thursday in hopes of making the bread again. Would like to try freezing a loaf so we don’t make gluttons of ourselves!!
Juhli
Lovely list and so glad you are getting some pain relief!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Thank you, friend. I am feeling much better.
Iris Smale
I love your Thankful Thursdays – doesn’t matter what day of the week they’re on. There are a number of things on your list that we just tend to take for granted. I’ve said before I need to start a daily list like that. There are SO many things!!!
Sorry about your lidocaine injection. Not familiar with that, but praying your pain is taken care of.

Thank you for the sweet comment. The lidocaine helped a lot and now physical therapy is taking the edge off, too.

I love reading your gratitude list because it reminds me of things in my life I am grateful for as well!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Thank you, sweet friend. We are very blessed.

Thank you so much, friend. I have so much to be thankful for and once I start thinking about those things, life seems pretty darn incredible.
Danielle
I love this series! I love how you are able to see all the things you are grateful for. For myself, this week I am thankful for a supportive husband, and a dear friend who took me out for coffee so we could vent our frustrations together in person.
Leslie Roberts Clingan
I am so glad for your coffee date with your friend. We all need a little time to let our hair down. Hope you can grab your friend or your mama and go for that pedi and mani soon.

Our car battery gave up the ghost last week as well. And, in our garage! First thing we thanked Him for!! We were on our way to pick up my brother who needed a ride to the airport (sigh) but he took a shuttle – no problem – and, thankfully, we were not in the airport parking lot when it died!! So many blessings lately! So glad you shared. And I made your chili recipe yesterday. Yum – thanks much!!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
Yay!! Glad you made the chili recipe…the pumpkin chili and not my Cincinnati chili that didn’t turn out so well.
I was so thankful that my battery died in our garage. So thankful I wasn’t taking my granddaughters to school or headed over the mountain
when it gave out.
Kristin
what a wonderful post! I know I haven’t been ‘around these parts’ for the past few months because, uh…life! but I am so happy to have the time today to sit and read this post. Such a good reminder to be thankful for the little things. xoxo
Leslie Roberts Clingan
