Welcome dear ones to Sentence a Day 03.2023 – my monthly review of life in one run-on sentence a day. Today I am bringing you my sentences from March. The good, the bad and the ugly. We’ve continued to have some hiccups in my hopes for a gentle 2023 but we’re still standing.
SENTENCE A DAY- OGT 2023
As always, want to give a big thanks to Rebecca Jo at Knit by God’s Hand for creating this series. This year, Rebecca is starting something that goes with SaD, she says it combines both. A thankful month idea – where every day, she will post a blessing, a gratitude for that day. And those posts will go live on the first Thursday of each month. Which I have overshot by quite a bit but better later than nunca, right?
For each of my daily entries, you will see OGT after the date for that (looooooong) sentence. OGT = one good thing. And I am following Rebecca’s good lead by including one good thing I am grateful for each day.
Just a reminder: Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After occasionally uses affiliate links which are usually italicized. If you click or make a purchase from an italicized link provided I may receive a very small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support.

YOUR TURN
Did your March merit a thumbs up or thumbs down? Maybe somewhere in between?? How’s April working for you? Not my favorite month yet, but we still have half the month left for things to improve.
Wishing you a warm, sunny week. I am hoping for a quiet one. Thank you for visiting me.
Hugs and kisses,
Oh I do hate it when you have people working round your house. No privacy at all. Wishing you a better April!
Thank you!! We are thrilled to have the projects completed. And thrilled with the results.
Talk about a roller coaster ride! Leslie, how on earth did you survive all that stress and anxiety? Thank goodness that things aren’t as bad as they could have been, now to start treatment and put it behind him. UTIs are no fun and I hope that you are able to find a way to stop them recurring when you have your appointment.
I am really hoping that April is a much less stressful month for you!
I’m so sorry that your husband has Prostate Cancer but so thankful the cancer is not anywhere else!!!
Thank you, sugar foot. We feel so fortunate that PC’s cancer is contained. Now to get rid of it once and I hope, for all.
You have truly been in my prayers, my friend. I was about to write I cannot imagine, but, unfortunately, I can. We went through some health scares this fall that turned out to be not exactly scary but on the back burner kind of scary. I think your pool is going to be lovely…want a guest for a month or two?
I honestly am exhausted after reading your posts! You accomplish so much. I need you to be behind me poking me with a stick to get things done!

Thank you, darling friend. I feel those prayers and we are feeling so blessed by the support and love bestowed on us. I am so sorry that you guys have had some semi-scary health scares recently, too. I guess the older we get, the more likely they are. But thankful that perhaps you’ve dodged a bullet or have a hope of recovery, healing or tackling your family’s health concerns before they become more serious.
You always make me laugh. I may seem to get things done but you should see the current mess behind me on the kitchen counters…cleaning cabinets, separating dishes for resale or donation. And yet I am taking a few minutes to watch a trial on YouTube and read blogs. Long overdue. Love you!!
Sweet friend, I have added PC to our prayer list at church, so thankful there’s a plan and this will be behind you soon. March was quite a month for you, here’s hoping April is kinder and gentler with more joy and less concern.
xo,
Kellyann
Thank you, thank you for the prayers and for asking others for prayer for us. We are waiting for his surgery date to be confirmed. Looking forward to a quick trip to Austin, Texas before the surgery. And then hoping for a restful June recovery.
Oh, I sure hope my jury duty gets canceled, but I have such a low number that I doubt I’ll be canceled out. I get jury duty consistently every 2 years! Boo! I love that you spent the day doing fun things instead! Oh, I am so glad PC’s cancer diagnosis isn’t too bad, even though the cancer word is so scary! Oh, I didn’t realize you had roof issues too! Ours is so old we are just replacing it.
