Welcome dear chums to Sentence a Day 03.2022 – my monthly review of life in one run-on sentence a day. Today I am bringing you my sentences for March, as long-winded as always. Each month I tell myself to try to do just a couple of words for each day. But I wind up writing a novela instead. Please accept my apologies.
As always, want to give a big thanks to Rebecca Jo at Knit by God’s Hand for hosting this series. Please run by to check out her post and the posts of some of the others linking up with us below.

WOTY and A Respite
You might remember that my word of the year (WOTY) is flow. I have been wearing these fluorite beads every day since the end of January – thank you, Pat at Retirement Transition, for the idea. I wear them to remind me to ‘go with the flow.’ To not get so wrapped around the hub about things. To, in the immortal words of Elsa from “Frozen” – let it go, let it go. Easier to sing than do.
My friends, I am going to be taking a respite from blogging and social media. Have several monthly series upcoming for which I will not be participating. This Friday’s Where Bloggers Live and Sunday’s 10 on the 10th. I have not done well at all about following my friends on Facebook and Instagram and have been a terrible blogging friend to the bloggers I follow. But I just cannot manage it right now. Hoping with some time away, I will feel like returning to it all. Keeping up with social media and blogging can be a bit of a hamster wheel and I already feel like my life is stressful enough without trying to manage that.
Your Turn
Hope your April is off to a glorious start. Hold your loved ones close and stay well.
Hugs and kisses,
After reading your month, I can understand why you need a break. I’m glad you’re going to take a break for yourself.
Your grandchildren are all adorable and I can imagine how happy you are to have them all together.
What a busy month – your mum looks so good and I’m pleased that her birthday coincided with her feeling a little better than usual.
We will miss you here on social media but it sounds as if you have enough on your plate in the real world to be going on with at the moment. I do hope the issue with your stepson resolves itself and that her receives the medical help and support that he so obviously needs.
Take good care of yourself and when the time is right, we look forward to seeing you back on your blog x
Sending you all my love and prayers with your struggles, Leslie.
Keep yourself safe and healthy!!

Leslie, you pack more into a day than I do in a month! No wonder you’re tired! But, those grandchildren are just absolutely gorgeous and adorable! I’m glad your mom was able to celebrate her 95th with you and your sister…what a lovely gift of a denim jacket! Take your time and come back if and when you’re ready! You’re in my prayers, dear friend.
First off I had to laugh as I am the same way; each month I swear I am going to limit myself to just one sentence each day and I never do! It sounds like you had such a busy month! I bet it was great to have your daughters and grandbabies altogether for a visit. How wonderful you and your siblings go to celebrate your mom’s birthday with her. I hope everything with PC’s son works itself out and he manages to get all the help he needs.
Oh Leslie — I can totally understand why you are stepping away for a bit. We will be here when you return and until then I am praying for your family that all may find mental and physical health. Hugs my friend.
You have so much going on with family at present, by the sounds of things. Take the time to give yourself a little love. Happy birthday for yesterday and thanks for introducing me to Supernatural (I had to go and google it!). Best wishes.
Hugs, Leslie. I got tired just reading about your very busy days. You have a lot on your plate – both wonderful (your lovely family – you have beautiful grandchildren) and deeply stressful. I am so sorry to hear about Matt’s mental illnesses. I had a friend develop schizophrenia as a young 20 something. The medications eventually did work for him. I hope the same will eventually happen for Matt. I certainly understand the need to step away from the blog.

I will miss you Leslie, though I didn’t get to follow all your posts…time just gets in the way, or lack of it. But I did enjoy what I always read. Hope to see you back soon.
You will be missed but we do understand the need for a break.
I pray that all will be well with you and your family.
Hang in there!
You had an incredibly busy month. No need to apologize for taking a step back. I am feeling that so much right now too. I am not doing a great job of keeping up with any of the things. If you decide you want to come back, we will be happy to welcome you back, and if you decide you need more time away, that is perfectly acceptable as well.
Take care friend!
Dani

Oh my! You have been one busy lady! I can’t believe all you have been up to! You definitely needed some time away!
Yes, life = LIFE – got crazy for a while. Things have slowed down now that school is out and with our forced quarantine with Covid. Hallelujah.
