Good morning, good evening, good night, my friends. Thanks for joining me for Sentence a Day 01.2025 – a long-winded review of the second month in this shiny new year, coming to you in one run-on sentence a day. Still feeling hopeful about this year. How ’bout you?
Before We Jump In
As I have always said, I write these sentences for me. As a way of keeping track of what all has happened and when. I know this is really a lot of gibberish. A bunch of stuff I really don’t expect anyone to wade through!! But it helps me to reflect on each day, and record the important things so I can keep them straight, if not in my mind, on ‘paper’ at least. Would never dream that anyone would read this bunch of hooey word for word!!

Sentence a Day & LMNOP
Every month I try very hard to get my SaD post together once the month is over, in order to make the What’s Been on Your Calendar?- WBOYC – link-up with Deb at Deb’s World, Sue who blogs at Women Living Well After 50, Donna from Retirement Reflections and Jo who can be found at And Anyways. The link-up opens on the last Friday of each month and is only open a few days. So I am not always successful in joining the gals. Hope to link up this post with for Jennifer’s Thankful Thursday series over at Overflowing with Thankfulness, too. My OGT after each sentence is ‘one good thing’ – something I am especially thankful for. Also try to incorporate thoughts and experiences around my WOTY = word of the year into my SaD posts. And when I have had occasion to get dressed for the day, I like to share a few OOTDs = outfits of the day. That’s a lot of ABCs and LMNOPs.

1 Second Each Day
Here’s a quick video review of my second month of the year. It wasn’t half bad!!
OOTDs
We were in the gym quite a bit this month but I did get dressed in regular clothes a time or two. Here are some of those regular days outfits. My favorite combination is a graphic tee, cardi or denim jacket or kimono and jeans. Wore a version of that a couple of times this month.

I really wish I would get back to writing my sentence a day post. Such a fun way to remember life happenings.
Come on, girl!! And we are sharing our spring bucket lists on the 24th of March. Join us!!
I always enjoy getting a peak into other’s lives. I have tried a sentence a day. I never seem to stick to it past a few days! So a monthly update is more my speed. Always hard to deal with technology: my son’s new laptop went kaput in January and it took 3 weeks for them to finally give him a replacement new one. So stressful!

Happy Birthday to PC. Sorry to hear Declan was sick.. poor baby.
It has been so cold here..
Thank you, love. Dec has a time. Last night they had to snatch him out of bed for a tornado warning. They all huddled in the closet for awhile. I know he was so confused.
Hope you begin to feel and see signs of spring. It is time!!
I love the photos of you all with your grands! It’s just the best thing, right? Mine are teenagers now so they’re busy. I don’t see them near as much as I’d like. I miss having an irrigation system. We could have one, but we’d have to be responsible for the heads should the mowers break them. Our yard is a mess! You are really digging deep into writing this year. I’m so impressed by you every time you write one of these. I’m glad you are having success with Christie, too.
https://marshainthemiddle.com/
Thank you, so much. Christie has been a delight. But I knew she would be. She is such a sweet, calm soul.
We have sprinkler head issues every time we mow. We both get sloppy and forgetful and just go like a bull in a china shop and then make a huge mess with the sprinklers. We have not had rain in so many months. Our poor yard may just have to die. We cannot afford to try to water it enough to keep it up.
What a fantastic way to reflect on the month! Nurture is a fabulous word for the year. My word is seek.

OH boy, I thought technology and me didn’t really get along but it seemed like anything having to do with technology was giving you grief! Yay for another good dental check-up, safe family members, and all the love from your grandbabies.
Thank you, sweet friend. I do love this fam of mine and the grandbabies so much.
Thank you for the kind words, Leslie. I really enjoy working with you too, and I appreciate your willingness to take a chance on me and help me gain my practical experience hours.
As always, it was fun reading your sentences to catch up on what’s been happening in your world. Here’s to a marvelous March!
Thank you, friend!! You are helping me more than I could have imagined.
I have no idea (NONE) how you are able to keep track of these daily snippets. You must have the most amazing memory – but what it is to look back and see what a full and blessed month it has been! Much to celebrate, enjoy and give thanks for! I should be more purposeful about being mindful of the every day things! Loved your outfits for the month! Here’s to a good month ahead. Will look forward to all March holds in store for you!:)
What a month! For the month that is the shortest of the year you certainly packed a lot in!
Our schools celebrate World Book Day by letting the children dress up as their favourite book character. Max went as Dogman – he loves those books and I think he will want to go and see the film soon. Olive was a ballerina from Rosie Sips Spiders, Rosie was Matilda and Leo used it as an opportunity to wear his football kit (I’m sure there is a book about football that he managed to find on the book shelf!).
What a worry you have with Declan, he does seem to have more than his fair share of hospital visits and high temperatures 🙁 Hope everyone manages to stay well this month!
