Welcome friends, guess what I forgot to do? A final update post for my winter bucket list! Am I getting old and forgetful or what?? I usually attach the final update and tally of my progress on the former season’s list when I reveal the new season’s bucket list. But I was scrambling so to get my spring bucket list post written on Saturday when I got home from Mom’s. Forgot to include this update. Might be a day late and dollar short, but here it is. And you can check out my first update, here.
No matter the types of activities on each season’s list, I need to be sure to remember that the point of these bucket list exercises is to live life more intentionally. And to pack some new experiences in with the everyday routines. Oh, and that nothing is written in stone!! I need to give myself some grace if our activities don’t go as planned.
Let’s see where I stood on my winter bucket list.
MY WINTER BUCKET LIST: Final UPDATE 03.2020
FIRST 5:
- Make grandma’s cinnamon and orange rolls. ✔️ Made these for my Sweet Labor of Love Recipe Swap and Blog Hop post. They were pretty good but not as good as my mom’s.
- Try 2 new restaurants. ✔️ The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant, opened last year and I have been interested in trying it. Also thinking it’s high time we try Rosa’s Cantina of the Marty Robbin’s song fame. We visited Rosa’s Cantina BC – before cornona. Never made it to The Melting Pot but hope to try it for my happy birthday. We tried a new-to-us restaurant before the AJ concert and a couple of new places on our trip to Phoenix. Giving this a green check.
- Visit our new neighborhood bar. ✔️ We enjoyed our first visit to the Tin Man Pub after the Alan Jackson concert. See what I did there? Multi-tasking on my bucket list!! Had a rather stout mug of IPA. It was a cozy place. Patrons were playing board games, cards and watching basketball on the big screens.

I’ve never been to Phoenix, but what a fun weekend away! And, you def. need to try the Melting Pot when this virus goes away.

Wow! You did great on your bucket list for winter. It kind of made me sad to read about all the fun times you had out with hubby and friends. All that is on hold now. Good time to stay in and do some scrapbooking! 🙂

Congratulations on your bucket list completions, Leslie. Good thing you got that bar visit completed before the virus outbreak closed down pubs and clubs! Stay safe.

LOL glad we snuck that bar visit in, too. I am missing eating out a lot…like A LOT!! But glad to stay home if it keeps all of us healthier.
