Today is the last Monday of 2014. The new year is almost upon us!
I love the idea of a new year, a new beginning, a clean(ish) slate.
How about you?
I have lots of goals to attain and activities to accomplish this coming year. And I hope to share my progress toward realizing my plans, here with you to hold me accountable.
I intend to take the blog in a new direction. Moving away from an emphasis on fashion and the exterior ME and concentrating more on the interior ME. I hope you will continue to follow and cheer me on in this journey toward rediscovering and redefining who I am.
Yesterday I was doing my evening blog hopping when I came across an announcement for a Bible study program on Cyndi Spivey’s blog Walking in Grace and Beauty. The program is entitled Wild Obedience and is being sponsored by Katie Orr and is described on her blog as “a 15-day journey through Scripture, with a view toward a better understanding of the provisions God has made for us, so that we can become wildly obedient”.
You can learn more by going here.
I bought the Kindle version of Wild Obedience – Focused15 for $3.99 here on Amazon. And even though I don’t have a Kindle (I am a Nook girl), I uploaded the Kindle for PC app and will be reading the book on my laptop. The book is also available in paperback and PDF formats.
Cyndi is beginning the program on January 1, 2015 – what better day?
My BFF Sharon has signed up for the study and we will be starting on Thursday with Cyndi, too. We have taken the pledge to devote 15 minutes for 15 days to this study of the Bible and to developing a closer relationship with God.
You can take the pledge here.
Then join us for the Bible study by signing up here.
If you are unable to start on January 1, 2015 with Sharon, Cyndi and me, pick your own day to get started.
But please come back to share your impression of the program.
Let’s start the new year off right!
Hugs and sticky kisses,
Sharon
So glad you are doing this Bible study too!

We can do Bible study and dieting together the first weeks of the new year! I have GOT to get back on track with my eating. Have been eating like it’s going out of style. Maybe you can be my guest blogger for a post on the Bible study. I would LOVE that!
