Good Sunday morning, girls,
Joining my friend Kristen at Taz and Belly for our final “Little Letters” link-up of the year. I don’t know Kristen well so wasn’t sure if she planned to continue this series into 2018 but she is! These monthly posts have become one of my favorite ways of venting. Without the inevitable mess that comes with bloodshed or from throwing things. Likewise, “Little Letters” can be words of praise, too. While I haven’t been writing them for long, you can read a couple of my former posts here and here.
Did you see a common theme in my letters past? I think you will be pleasantly surprised by this month’s edition. Please read on.
Little Letters 12.2017
Letters to Establishments
Dear WordPress,
Thank you for being a semi-easy blog host for this old gal to manipulate. However, what’s up with my image uploader? I cannot upload any new images for posts! Which means I am having to use the graphic for November’s “Little Letters” post again this month. What in the world?? And my regular gal from Etsy who helps me with hiccups on WordPress is no longer working so now I have to find someone to help me. Read ka-ching and at a time when money is already stretched thin. Boo on YOU.
Dear WordPress,
Now that I hired someone to take a look at the image uploader issue, it has resolved itself. Thanks. But can you refund me the $55 I gave Evan to investigate the problem? He didn’t have to do a thing! At least I am able to use the correct graphic for this month now.
Dear Premier Wireless Repair North Hills,
Thank you for transferring everything over from my Samsung Galaxy 6 with the cracked camera lens to my Samsung Galaxy 7. I appreciate your reasonable prices and how quickly you got the job done. So glad that my selfies will no longer look blurry. Even though the blurriness helped soften the lines in my face!! Thank you for also installing a screen protector and case at the same time. I will be a repeat customer.
Dear Premier Wireless Repair North Hills,
Not sure how it happened but when you installed the Shell Shock screen protector to my Galaxy 7, you installed the wrong protector. I was so excited to be able to take clear photos again. Only to discover – on my way out of town – that forward facing photos were clear but photos taken with the camera in the rear-facing (selfie) direction were still blurry. When I got to Albuquerque where my daughter looked at my phone, she pointed out that the new Shell Shock screen protector you installed was partially covering the selfie lens. I will be a repeat customer in order to get this straightened out.
Dear Premier Wireless Repair North Hills,
Thank you for removing the incorrect Shell Shock screen protector you had installed on my new Samsung Galaxy 7. Turns out it was a Shell Shock screen protector for a Galaxy 6 which explains why it partially covered my selfie lens. Thank you for replacing it with the correct Shell Shock screen protector free of charge. Premier Wireless Repair North Hills, I will be a repeat customer.
Dear Nu-Tec Remodeling,
Thank you, Ed and Luis, Hector and Oscar, for making the exterior of our 10-year-old home look better than new! The Sherwin Williams Elastomeric paint you used and the attention you paid to repairing the cracks in our stucco made such a difference. I love the new color, too! Thank you, Nu-Tec, for a job well done. You restored my faith in contractors.
Dear Silver Springs Pools,
Thank you for having your plaster contractor buff the stains and pitting in our hot tub. They are no longer as visible as they were. Thank you for having your plumbing contractor replace the cracked fitting on the suction line of our pump so that it now works. Thank you for arranging for your landscaping contractor to replace the dirt missing from around the perimeter of our pool. The missing dirt that led to the cracking of the deck. Now all we lack is having your deck contractor repair the 30+ cracks in our deck. Then I can write you a happy little letter like the ones I have written Nu-Tec and Premier Wireless Repair North Hills. Silver Springs Pool and Spas, call me.
Dear Delta Airlines,
When our flight home from Lexington was delayed early Saturday morning, you notified us on Friday night with enough time to formulate a Plan B. In fact, you gave us a Plan B. Thank you for getting us home safely and for waiving the $25 baggage fee for our inconvenience. We actually wound up arriving home at the same time we were originally scheduled to and without a 4-hour-layover in snow dusted Atlanta. Thank you.

Your Turn
If you were going to write a little letter right now, to whom would you write? Is there someone in your life who needs a word of thanks? Or maybe a business that got it right? Won’t you share in a comment below? And then join us for this series in the coming new year. So cathartic.Generally posted on the second Friday of the month. Yeah, I’m late!
Hugs and kisses,
Laura
Sounds like you had some more positive experiences this month! Or at least you are putting a positive spin on it all! Hope you can figure out WordPress. It’s so frustrating when blogging things go wrong and you can’t figure them out or get them fixed without lots of time and effort and cash.

Aww! You do share the best recipes. I am so glad you got your blurry photo problem fixed on your phone. I am still so new to WordPress and I am always confused and trying to figure things out on it. LOL. I hope you get those 30+ cracks fixed on your deck soon.
Carrie
