Dear ones,
Today’s post is an extra special treat. Honored to have been asked to collaborate with Anjolee, the leader in jewelry manufacturing since 1977. I was gifted a 4.97ct diamond tennis bracelet in exchange for a review of this beautiful piece. The gems in my bracelet are cubic zirconium but in every other way it is identical to the diamond version.
Anjolee is a brand that stands for love, beauty and respect for quality. Their commitment to customer service has earned Anjolee a top three ranking in Newsweek’s 2018 survey, America’s Best Customer Service [source]. Anjolee’s mission is to provide customers with the highest quality of hand crafted, customized jewelry, using only the finest precious metals, natural diamonds and gemstones. And it shows in their lovely jewelry.
Anjolee Diamond Tennis Bracelet
Anjolee is the creator of the tennis bracelet. And they have a number of styles, something for everyone. I chose to review the Floral Blossom Diamond Tennis Bracelet in silver and cubic zirconium.
The bracelet arrived quickly and was so well packaged. The bracelet box was nestled into foam which was encased by a Anjolee signature jewelry box.
The magic happened when I opened the bracelet box. You see, the bracelet box has these little lights in the top that bring out the sparkle in the stones. The gems twinkled and flickered in the light. Dazzling!
An impressive presentation indeed!
I might have gasped just a little as I ran over to show PC. My photos don’t do this bracelet justice. Couldn’t try it on fast enough.
My Birthday
Just so happened that the day the bracelet arrived, my Prince was taking me out for a belated birthday celebration. I wore the Get Your Pretty On spring 2019 capsule wardrobe Day 1 outfit. Neutral cardigan + white top + colorful bottoms + denim or chambray shoes. I selected my peep toe nude shoes instead of my new chambrays. And my brand new Anjolee diamond tennis bracelet.
I was also excited to be able to get into and – woo hoo – fasten my Loft Outlet cropped coral pants! Birthday bonus. The day was full of surprises.
Felt like such a fancy lady! Each gem in the Floral Blossom Diamond Tennis Bracelet is set in a petal-shaped mounting that allows the light to play off the stones from above and below. Their clarity and color are brilliant.
The bracelet is 7″ in length and has a safety clasp to make sure it stays in place. Interestingly, the tennis bracelet originated when the famous tennis player, Chris Evert, lost her diamond bracelet during a match. The clasp on her diamond bracelet snapped, causing it to fall off, and when this happened, she asked that the tennis match be paused until her jewelry could be located. Ever since that day, line diamond bracelets have been coined “tennis bracelets” [source].
PC treated me to new workout clothes and dinner at PF Chang’s where I enjoyed a coconut mojito and an ahi poke bowl. Delicious. We were going to indulge in ice cream on our way home but were both full as ticks.

Your Turn
Do you have a tennis bracelet or favorite piece of diamond jewelry? While packing all of my mom’s things in preparation for her move in December, she showed us some jewelry that has been in our family for several generations. It has always been tucked away for safe keeping. Kind of sad that it was not worn or enjoyed but just saved for very special occasions. Or maybe just to hand down to younger generations. I used to feel the same way but lately, I have begun wearing my nicer pieces…because if not now, when? My Floral Blossom Diamond Tennis Bracelet is the perfect piece for dress up occasions or to dress up an everyday look.

Oh you lucky, lucky girl! Isn’t it fab? It really is beautiful, and looks so good on your wrist. I always wondered why they were called tennis bracelets, thanks for the explanation. Sounds like you had a lovely birthday!

A belated happy birthday to you!
That bracelet is beautiful. The presentation with the lights is so cool. I own a tennis bracelet but don’t wear it, now I’m thinking I need to dig it out. They really are an easy way to make any outfit look chic. By the way, I didn’t know that about tennis bracelets. Thank you for the little history lesson.

I own a tennis bracelet but did not know the story behind the name. The box this one comes in is as beautiful as the bracelet. Love your outfit and Happy Belated Birthday!

Thank you, Mike. Isn’t this Anjolee bracelet gorgeous. And the packaging is almost as spectacular. Great presentation.

Interesting story about the origin of the name tennis bracelet! I can’t imagine playing tennis with a diamond bracelet though! It would drive me crazy moving around on my wrist so much! Not to mention the thought of loosing such an expensive piece of jewelry! I love your outfit for your birthday date with PC! I think I like the nude shoes more than the denim ones!
Leslie Roberts Clingan
I think wearing a tennis bracelet to play tennis might be kind of bothersome, too. Although, I have gotten used to wearing my fitness tracker and tends to slide about on my wrist a bit. Thank you for your sweet words. I like getting dressed up for dates with my Prince.

Well happy birthday my friend! What a wonderful way to celebrate! Your new bracelet is stunning and how lovely that it arrived in time for your dinner out! Thanks for the back story on how the term “tennis bracelet” was coined – I never knew!

Glad you are wearing your ‘good’ jewelry now. I am going to follow suit today and wear my tennis bracelet even if I pair it with jeans! Thank you for the birthday wishes. XO
